Champagne Blending Masterclass in collaboration with Anthracite Gallery
Hosted at Anthracite, a contemporary art gallery in central Zurich, the evening unfolds within the current exhibition Chūshō Tōsa — A Field Survey of Japanese Abstract Art, which brings together works by six Japanese artists exploring materiality, perception, and form.
What to expect
Over the course of the evening, you will taste a selection of still wines from distinct Grand and Premier Cru parcels on the Côte des Blancs, each pressed separately to preserve its identity, origin, and traceability.
Guided by a HATT et SÖNER representative, you will learn to identify what sets one parcel apart from another in the glass, then work through the process of blending them together — making your own decisions about proportion, balance, and style. This is the exercise that sits at the heart of every champagne made at the house, and the same one Personal Vintage members begin with when crafting their bespoke cuvée. By the end of the tasting, you will have the opportunity to create your own personal vintage with HATT et SÖNER.
Alongside the blending, you will taste the full range of HATT et SÖNER cuvées, paired with small bites.
